How do I choose a stone fabricator?

Like with any other contractor, choose a stone fabricator who is licensed, bonded, insured for liability, and carries Workman’s Compensation Insurance.  Make sure they have a record of being on-time and on-budget, without a history of unexpected up-charges.  You may wish to check their license with the State Contractors License Board (http://www2.cslb.ca.gov/CSLB_LIBRARY/License+Request.asp).
